The LVMPD Foundation supports programs and initiatives that enhance public safety, strengthen community-police relations, and provide critical resources not covered by public funding. From advanced technology and officer training to youth engagement and wellness, these efforts help ensure a safer, more connected Las Vegas.

100 Club Donors
“100” signifies the call sign for the LVMPD Sheriff, symbolizing leadership and a commitment to the highest standards of public safety. Become a member of the 100 Club Donors to stand shoulder to shoulder with business and community leaders discussing ways to ensure a safer, more resilient community.

Area Commands
LVMPD Area Commands help the LVMPD deliver community-focused policing, build partnerships with residents and businesses, and improve safety through localized strategies and proactive crime prevention.

Back to School Initiative
Before each new school year, the Foundation purchases essential school supplies and assists Metro officers in distributing them to underserved student populations across the Las Vegas Valley.

Wynn Las Vegas - Friday, October 24, 2025, 5 pm
Best of the Badge Gala
Best of the Badge Gala honors LVMPD officers for distinguishing themselves in the line of duty. On this night, we share dramatic and harrowing stories that earned our top cops a commendation. Proceeds from the Gala benefit the Foundation.

Bombas Socks
Bombas has donated high-quality socks to the LVMPD Foundation and LVMPD officers have distributed 10,000 pairs of Bombas socks as part of our annual Back-to-School Initiative.

Community Bicycle Drive
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation proudly supports a series of bicycle drives that bring joy, promote wellness, and build lasting connections between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

DREAM Youth Mentorship Program
The DREAM Program (Discover, Redirect, Empower, Advocate, Mentor) is a valley-wide youth diversion initiative led by officers from the Office of Community Engagement. It is designed to connect with young people, steer them away from negative influences, and inspire positive life choices.

Easter Community Engagement Drive
With the help of generous donors and volunteers, the Foundation supports Easter egg hunts for thousands of residents for fun celebrations of togetherness and generosity. Working together, we’re not just filling Easter eggs—we’re filling hearts.

Good Ticket Program
The Good Ticket Program celebrates LVMPD officers and civilian personnel for their positive impact in the community. Sponsored annually by Resorts World Las Vegas, it highlights moments of kindness and connection by recognizing civilians who are caught doing something good, reinforcing that police interactions aren't only about enforcing the law but also about uplifting the community.

Halloween Candy Drive
Each year, the Foundation hosts candy drives and raises funds to give underserved children a safe, fun Halloween. Candy is distributed at Trunk or Treats and Fall Festivals organized by Area Commands in the neighborhoods they serve, helping build trust and positive connections between officers and the community.

Hidden Heroes
The Hidden Heroes Black & White Gala celebrates and recognizes unsung heroes at LVMPD who work behind the scenes to keep us safe every day and are committed to our community. Proceeds from the Gala benefit the Foundation.

Hispanic Citizens' Police Academy
The Hispanic Citizens’ Police Academy builds trust by connecting Spanish-speaking residents with LVMPD through hands-on education and training.

Hydroponics
This initiative offers hands-on hydroponics education by utilizing STEM principles and providing practical knowledge and skills. Students learn how to cultivate an indoor garden with fresh vegetables and build relationships with both law enforcement and their peers.

JETI - Joint Emergency Training Institute
The Joint Emergency Training Institute is the largest of its kind in the West—your support helps keep it ready to protect Las Vegas and beyond.

License Plate Readers
Automated License Plate Readers help law enforcement quickly identify threats and respond faster to protect the community.

LIMA Program
This annual ceremony honors the incredible graduates of the LIMA (Law Enforcement Intervention for Mental Health and Addiction) program. LIMA offers treatment to support individuals involved with low-level crimes related to substance abuse, mental health, and homelessness issues.

The LVMPD Mobile Drone Unit enhances public safety with real-time aerial support during critical incidents.

National Night Out
The Foundation funds Metro’s valley-wide initiative for National Night Out. This annual community-building campaign promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live. These free gatherings typically attract thousands of attendees who enjoy learning about the latest crime-fighting technology, meeting policing teams, and crime prevention strategies.

Santa Cops / Shop with a Cop
Santa Cop and Shop with a Cop are special holiday traditions sponsored by the Foundation that bring LVMPD officers and local youth together for a morning of shopping, laughter, and connection. Hundreds of underserved children are paired with officers to pick out clothes, toys, and holiday gifts — creating lasting memories, building trust, and reminding every child that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

ShotSpotter
ShotSpotter helps officers respond faster to gunfire by detecting the exact location of shots, improving safety and saving lives.

Thanksgiving Meal Distribution
Many families in our Valley face financial hardship and food insecurity, especially during the holidays. The Foundation supports area commands by providing a complete Thanksgiving meal for families in need, helping officers build trust, humanize the badge, and strengthen the communities they serve.

Wonder Women of Metro Luncheon
The Wonder Women of Metro Luncheon celebrates and recognizes female leadership in law enforcement and our communities. Proceeds from the Luncheon benefit the Foundation.

Youth Sports (Bolden Lions Futbol Club)
The Bolden Lions Futbol Club is more than just a soccer team. It’s a lifeline for at-risk youth in our community. The LVMPD Foundation supports this free, competitive soccer program, which is open to boys and girls ages 14–18.
