Rising costs for food and rent are forcing many Las Vegas families to cut back, leaving them struggling to make ends meet, especially during the holiday season. As Thanksgiving approaches, countless households face the reality of going without a holiday meal.
This Thanksgiving, LVMPD officers are doing more than delivering meals — they're delivering hope. Through the Thanksgiving Meal Distribution program, officers personally hand-deliver complete holiday meals to families across the Las Vegas Valley facing hardship, turning a doorstep visit into a lasting moment of trust and connection.
