March Good Ticket Recap: Honoring CSI Analyst Noelle Herring

In honor of International Women’s Month, we celebrated an extraordinary act of service and dedication at our March Good Ticket ceremony. This month, the LVMPD Foundation, in partnership with Resorts World Las Vegas, recognized CSI Analyst Noelle Herring—a woman who embodies the essence of “policing with humanity.”

A Life-Saving Moment

On the night of November 24, 2024, an elderly man with dementia was reported missing. Officers and detectives launched an urgent search, but as time passed, hope of finding him before nightfall began to dwindle.

Meanwhile, Noelle Herring was finishing her shift, returning from processing a crime scene when something caught her eye. She noticed a figure lying in a desert lot—something most people might have overlooked. But Noelle didn’t just walk on by. Her instincts told her to take a closer look.

It turned out to be the missing man, covered in dirt and difficult to see. Officers had unknowingly passed him earlier, not realizing he was there. Noelle immediately alerted dispatch, and soon, Missing Persons detectives arrived to confirm his identity. Thanks to her keen observation and willingness to act, the man was safely reunited with his family.

A Recognition Well Deserved

During today’s Good Ticket ceremony at Resorts World Las Vegas, Noelle was honored for her quick thinking, attention to detail, and selfless dedication to protecting the community. Her story is a powerful reminder that policing is not just about enforcing the law—it’s about caring for people, noticing the unnoticed, and stepping up when others might not.

We were also joined by Brian Spellacy, Director of Security at Resorts World Las Vegas, who recognized Noelle’s efforts, and CSI Director Kristin Grammas, who shared heartfelt words about Noelle’s dedication to her profession and the community.

A Community That Cares

The Good Ticket Award, a partnership between the LVMPD Foundation and Resorts World Las Vegas, is about more than recognition—it’s about celebrating acts of compassion, service, and humanity. Each honoree receives a special experience at Resorts World, including hotel accommodations, dining, and entertainment, as a token of appreciation for their dedication.

As we reflect on today’s event, we are reminded that one person’s attentiveness can make all the difference. Noelle saw what others missed—and because of her, a life was saved.

Congratulations, Noelle, and thank you for your unwavering service!
