PREPARING LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS FOR ALL SITUATIONS
Where Readiness Meets Reality
The Joint Emergency Training Institute (JETI) here in Las Vegas is a state-of-the-art reality-based training campus developed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) to prepare first responders for high-stress emergencies and critical incidents. Spanning over 180,000 square feet, the facility includes a 50,000-square-foot training building with mat rooms, simulators, classrooms, and administrative space, as well as a 130,000-square-foot tactical training village for immersive scenario-based exercises.
THE (JETI) MADE POSSIBLE THROUGH YOUR SUPPORT
Funded largely by the LVMPD Foundation’s $35 million fundraising campaign, JETI provides essential, life-saving training for local, state, and national law enforcement officers and first responders. This cutting-edge facility improves coordination, response readiness, and public safety across all concerned agencies. Scientific evidence supports reality-based training as the most effective way to overcome stress and ensure training retention.
YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
The Joint Emergency Training Institute (JETI) opened in 2024 as the largest and most comprehensive of its kind in the western United States, embodying the spirit of Vegas Strong. We cannot afford to rest one minute in working to keep it state-of-the-art ready to face whatever horrible assaults and incidents that are certainly being planned for the future. This is where your support is vital.
By donating to the LVMPD Foundation, you enable us to provide JETI and LVMPD with the funding necessary to acquire the new training and equipment needed to stay one step ahead of the criminal element attempting to do Las Vegas, Nevada, and America harm. We simply cannot fall behind.
