LVMPD Foundation Releases 2025 Annual Impact Report

May 7, 2026

The LVMPD Foundation has released its 2025 Annual Impact Report, highlighting a year of strategic investment in officer training, public safety technology, and community engagement initiatives across Southern Nevada.

Centered around the theme, From Investment to Impact, the report demonstrates how donor support directly contributed to measurable outcomes that strengthen public safety and build trust between law enforcement and the community.

In 2025, the Foundation supported the opening of the indoor Tactical Training Village at the Joint Emergency Training Institute (JETI), providing officers and first responders with realistic, scenario-based training environments designed to improve preparedness and decision-making in high-risk situations. More than 5,000 first responders participated in training exercises throughout the year.

The Foundation also funded critical equipment and technology investments, including license plate readers, e-bikes, and infrastructure supporting drone operations. These tools help officers respond faster, prevent crime, and improve public safety outcomes across the valley.

Community engagement remained a core focus throughout the year. Through partnerships with LVMPD and community organizations, the Foundation served more than 142,600 people through outreach initiatives, youth mentorship programs, holiday events, and neighborhood policing activities. Additional efforts included providing backpacks and school supplies to 1,000 students and delivering 500 Thanksgiving meals to families by officers.

“The impact reflected in this report is only possible because of the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and community partners,” said Karen Marben, Executive Director of the LVMPD Foundation. “Together, we are investing in safer neighborhoods, stronger community relationships, and a trained police force.”
