More than 48 Marquees Throughout Las Vegas Shine Blue to Recognize National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
On Thursday, Jan. 14, marquees on the Las Vegas Strip, Downtown and the Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Las Vegas Aviators, lit up in blue as part of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation’s Go True Blue Campaign in commemoration of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
The LVMPD Foundation created the Go True Blue campaign to recognize and support LVMPD officers who, day-in and day-out, work hard to keep our community safe. The campaign is a way for community members to show their support for LVMPD and the strong partnership that exists and continues to grow between LVMPD officers, companies, and residents of Las Vegas and Clark County.
There are many ways to show your support for those who work to protect and serve our community. The LVMPD Foundation invites you to join us as we thank the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and law enforcement professionals.
We Appreciate Your Support for Going True Blue Last January 16, 2020!
On January 16, 2020, the strip and surrounding iconic buildings, signs, and organizations showed their support for Metro’s LVMPD Heroes and recognized the LVMPD Foundation’s 20th Anniversary of supporting the men and women of LVMPD.
We invited you to go blue on January 16, 2020, and the response was overwhelming. We appreciate your support and for using the art files for your sign(s) and your business or organization and allowing us to feature you on LVMPD’s website, email marketing, and/or social media communications.
