Las Vegas Athletics Invest in Training at JETI

June 17, 2026

The LVMPD Foundation welcomed representatives from the Las Vegas Athletics to the Joint Emergency Training Institute (JETI) for a special recognition event celebrating the organization’s investment in first responder training.

During the visit, Athletics leadership formally presented their generous donation in support of training initiatives that prepare law enforcement officers and other first responders to respond effectively to critical incidents throughout Southern Nevada.

As part of the event, the Athletics were recognized with a plaque on the JETI Donor Wall, joining a distinguished group of community partners whose support has helped make the state-of-the-art training facility possible. The organization was also presented with membership in the Foundation’s 100 Club, which honors donors committed to strengthening public safety through philanthropic investment.

Following the recognition ceremony, Athletics representatives toured the Tactical Training Village, a key component of JETI that provides realistic, scenario-based training environments. Designed to replicate locations officers may encounter in the field, the village allows first responders to train together in settings that include residential, commercial, educational, and hospitality environments.

The visit offered an up-close look at how donor support directly impacts public safety by providing first responders with access to advanced training opportunities and resources.

“We are grateful to the Athletics for their commitment to our community and for recognizing the importance of training,” said Kam Green, Vice President of Mission Advancement for the LVMPD Foundation. “Their support helps ensure that the men and women who serve Southern Nevada have the tools and preparation they need to respond to today’s complex public safety challenges.”

The Athletics’ investment reflects a shared commitment to building a safer community and supporting the professionals who dedicate their lives to protecting it.

The LVMPD Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to the Athletics for their partnership and for helping advance the mission of the Joint Emergency Training Institute.
