GRAPPLER INITIATIVE
The Grappler is an advanced vehicle intervention tool designed to safely stop fleeing vehicles and reduce dangerous high-speed pursuits. As traffic safety remains a top priority for Sheriff Kevin McMahill and the department, this technology helps protect officers, drivers, and innocent members of the public by reducing the risk of crashes and injuries during pursuits.
Through the support of the LVMPD Foundation, Grappler technology represents an investment in safer roads, smarter policing, and stronger public safety outcomes for Southern Nevada.
Proceeds from the campaign benefit the LVMPD Foundation and its mission to support officers by providing them the equipment and technology they need to keep our communities safer.
