The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation (the “Foundation”, “LVMPD Foundation”, “us”, “our”, or “we”), cares about your privacy. This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) communicates our policies with respect to your information when you use our website located at https://lvmpdfoundation.org/ (the “Site”) or interact with any information about the Foundation’s products and services made available through our Site, online, mobile, and other software and related systems and platforms, as well as any in-person, telephone, or other offline locations or through other aspects of the Foundation’s business (collectively, the “System”) or interact with us at various promotional events (“Events”). We collect and use your personal information as described in this Policy.

You acknowledge that any personal information provided or collected through the System is voluntarily provided to the LVMPD Foundation from you. As you navigate any part of the System, you will find that there are several online forms or other locations which you can use to request information regarding a specific product or service. In order for the LVMPD Foundation to effectively enable the System and allow access to certain content or otherwise facilitate the Foundation’s business, the LVMPD Foundation does collect and use certain data.
We collect information about you when communicate with us via the Site, subscribe to mailing lists to obtain more information about us and our products, or register on our Site to order our products, such as first and last name, company name, e-mail address, mailing address, billing address, month and year of birth, age, gender, telephone numbers, occupation, dietary restrictions, credit card information, bank account information, financial information, social media profile, product and/or service preferences, photographs, and comments.
Personal information is also collected about others when users share content with family, friends, or other contacts, including the name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. We may combine the Personal Information and other information that we obtain about individuals from more than one source. The LVMPD Foundation shall use reasonable efforts to provide the non-affiliates access only to the Personal Information necessary to assist in responding to your instructions, requests, and/or registrations for such products or services and cause such non-affiliates to use your Personal Information for these limited purposes.
The LVMPD Foundation may release and disclose information to affiliated or contracted persons, associations, or other entities of whatsoever nature, including, without limitation, strategic alliances and advertising affiliated persons and/or entities (the “Related Parties”) to help the LVMPD Foundation respond to your requests for information, goods or services and/or otherwise fulfill a user’s lawful request.
The LVMPD Foundation may release information to a law enforcement agency, court, or other governmental authority to (a) respond or otherwise comply with subpoenas, court orders, or other edicts of the law or legal process; (b) protect and defend the Foundation’s rights and property; or (c) to protect the personal safety of the Foundation’s users, the Foundation’s employees, or the public.
You consent to any and all such conveyances of information regardless of your location and your consent includes any and all such conveyances outside of your location, including, without limitation, in the United States and in other countries and territories.
4. Opt Out
From time to time, you may receive periodic mailings, telephone calls or e-mails from the LVMPD Foundation with news or other information about its products or services. If at any time you wish to stop receiving emails or mailings from the LVMPD Foundation please send us an email to support@lvmpdfoundation.org with the phrase “Privacy Opt-out: the LVMPD Foundation Mailings” in the subject line, or write to us at the LVMPD Foundation, 110 North City Parkway, Suite 420 Las Vegas, Nevada 89106 and we will remove you from the Foundation’s mailing list. Alternatively, for e-mail communications, you may opt out of receiving such communications by following the unsubscribe instructions set forth at the bottom of most e-mail messages.
In the event that the LVMPD Foundation wishes to transfer or release your Personal Information to a third person in a manner not set forth in this Policy, the LVMPD Foundation shall inform you prior to such transfer or release and provide you with the ability to opt out of such transfer or release of Personal Information. 5. Data Security
We apply commercially reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal information. Such safeguards protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction, or damage of your personal information. Although these safeguards reduce the risk of adverse effects to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal information, they cannot ensure or guarantee against the possibility of a security incident.

7. Children’s Privacy and Age-Related Information Collection Policies
We do not knowingly collect or allow the collection of personal information with our Site or System from an individual under the age of 13. If we have actual knowledge that we have collected personal information from an individual under the age of 13, we will delete that personal information. Except where required in accordance with law, law enforcement agency, court, or other governmental authority, the LVMPD Foundation does not intentionally solicit Personal Information from individuals under 18 years of age. If you are under 18 years of age or the proper legal age, you are not allowed to use or access the System at any time or in any manner and any such use is unauthorized. A parent or guardian whose child provided Personal Information to us without the parent’s or guardian’s consent should immediately notify us of such disclosure in writing to the contact information provided below in Contact Information. The LVMPD Foundation, upon receipt of such written notice, shall take reasonable measures to remove such disclosed information from its database and/or notify the appropriate authority.
- Data Subprocessors
We may contract with third-party service providers as data subprocessors to collect or process your personal information under our instruction. Service providers can perform many processing activities.
- California Shine the Light Law and Do Not Track
If you are a California resident and have an established business relationship with us, you may request that we not disclose your personal information to third parties for the third parties’ own direct marketing purpose (as defined in California Civil Code section 1798.83). To make such a request, please send an email to support@lvmpdfoundation.org.
Note that we do not currently respond to web browser “do not track” signals. Although a protocol for the “do not track” signal was adopted, the standard for how to respond to the signal was not adopted.
- Links to Non-LVMPD Foundation Websites
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not covered under this Policy or our Terms of Use. Upon visiting or using those third-party websites, services, or resources, we recommend that you review their privacy policy, terms and conditions, and terms of use before providing your personal information.
11. Transfer of Corporate Assets
If the LVMPD Foundation is acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, the LVMPD Foundation reserves the right to transfer or assign the personal information you provided to us as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control to the new entity. In the event of bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditor’s rights generally, we may not be able to control how your personal information is processed.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to accurately disclose changes as necessitated by applicable laws and other events If those changes are material in nature, we will notify you by a notice placed on our Site, a notification within our System, and/or by electronic mail. All changes are effective immediately upon posting and apply to all access to and use of the Site thereafter.
