Volunteer Opportunities

Join Us. Make a Difference. Volunteer with the LVMPD Foundation.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to support our mission by volunteering at fundraising events and community engagement initiatives.

Volunteers work alongside Foundation staff to help create meaningful experiences for our guests, officers, and supporters. Your time and commitment foster unity, build trust, and strengthen the bond between law enforcement and the community.

Our volunteer team is made up of people from all walks of life. Whether you’re a student, professional, retiree, or simply someone who wants to give back, we welcome your support. (Volunteers under 18 must provide a signed waiver.)

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Commit to at least one fundraising event per year
  • Follow dress code guidelines (Foundation Tees provided when applicable)
  • Refrain from carrying firearms while volunteering
  • Be able to lift 15 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Complete a prescreening process
  • Attend mandatory volunteer training sessions throughout the year

Be a part of something bigger. Become a volunteer today.

"I came across the LVMPD Foundation and knew it would be a good fit because of my heart for officers and the vision and mission that the Foundation is working to accomplish. What keeps me coming back is my heart for those in law enforcement and the community in which we live."

- Anna U.

"Seeing firsthand how the Foundation supports both the Police Department and the community reinforces why I keep coming back. Volunteering gives me a meaningful way to give back and serve those who protect and serve us."

- Darius S.

"I am pro-law enforcement and like helping strengthen the police department where I live. I love that they have the equipment and training they need to be the best at keeping us safe. They have amazing facilities that any department would envy, much of which is due to the foundation. I take pride in helping with that."

- Debbie T.
