Go True Blue and Be a Force for Good

Be a Force For Good in January. To mark “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” we are celebrating all month in January. We invite everyone to GO TRUE BLUE for community safety and BE A FORCE FOR GOOD, and go “social.”
GO TRUE BLUE
- January 1 – 31, 2017
- Businesses can change their lights to BLUE to support the effort (Please EMAIL the Foundation of your plans so we can get pictures: Support@LVMPDfoundation.org)
- Individuals and groups, entertainers and civic leaders please join us! Put on your favorite blue hat, scarf, shirt, or jacket.
- Take a selfie or record a video proclaiming you are “GOING TRUE BLUE for community safety and the Friends of LVMPD Foundation. Join me!”
- Then post your support on your personal social media * Use the #LVMPDfoundation, or @FriendsOfLVMPDfoundation on your post, so we can find your post
- Look for fellow supporters and TRUE BLUE events on our Facebook and website pages in January 2017

Year Round:Four different “Every 15 Minutes” safe driving efforts at schools, Color Guard events at graduations, Color Guard at conferences, Commendation ceremonies, Western States Sheriffs Association, also year-round are 9-1-1 for Kids info events at local Schools, Area Command Community Outreach and Response Events, MVP’s at community safety events countywide, etc.
