| The community came out in full force to show appreciation for law enforcement from agencies across the Valley and broke attendance and fundraising records at our 6th Annual Wonder Women of Metro Luncheon. Over 400 people attended the sold-out event, raising over $220,000 for the Foundation.
Nina Radetich, an Officer on our Board of Directors, was our excellent emcee. We appreciate Assistant Sheriff Sasha Larkin for moderating the 50th Anniversary Flash Panel featuring female officers who broke the glass ceiling at Metro.
We thank our generous sponsors and supporters, especially our presenting sponsors Anthem and Health Plan of Nevada as our host property, Resorts World Las Vegas. We extend gratitude to our keynote speaker, Punam Mathur, who delivered an inspiring speech with her brand of humor and vibrance.
It was a highlight for all who attended to hear Sheriff McMahill share his compassion and sincerity in having more women join the force and move up the ranks, one day, to his office.
