Sign Up for Howl-O-Ween to Support K-9s

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation is encouraging entrants to sign up for its first Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade & Brunch on October 17th from 10 am-Noon at Area15 located at 3215 S. Rancho Dr., Las Vegas, NV.

Proceeds from the Dog Parade registrations will go to support the lifelong care of retired and active LVMPD K-9s. “We’re hoping to see everyone and their dog costumed out for this fun parade to support Metro’s K-9 division,” said Tom Kovach, executive director of the LVMPD Foundation. “Our four-legged heroes go
above and beyond in their service to make our community a safer place, and they deserve to be cared for in return.”

The public is invited to enter their own costumed dogs in the Dog Parade in a fun competition culminating with “Top Dogs” receiving trophies. Register your dog today on the LVMPD website by following this link: https://bit.ly/3hXgLuq. Humans are free to attend and are encouraged to come in Halloween costumes and cheer to show their spirit.

Meteorologist Chloe Koast from NBC News3/The CW Las Vegas will be the emcee. Event sponsors include The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, The Gratitude Project, Las Vegas Raiders, and Leilani Kimmel Dagostino.
