Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation Elects New Officers

A diverse Board of Directors guides the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation and announces the first-time election of female Officers to its Board of Directors.

The organization’s 2023 LVMPD Board of Directors Officers are:  Mike Howard, President; Lisa Bogard, Vice President; Joe Murphy III, Treasurer; and Nina Radetich, Secretary.

The announcement underscores the LVMPD Foundation’s commitment to ensuring its board reflects the community and taps into the significant talent of many of our valley’s business and community leaders.

“For over two decades the LVMPD Foundation board has ensured the organization is an engaged and respectful partner of the LVMPD,” said Tom Kovach, Executive Director of the LVMPD Foundation.  “These latest board officer elections reflect and represent the community they serve, continue to bolster our ability to support the many critical and important initiatives of the LVMPD and continue to place women in leadership positions.”

Howard, who owns Howard Consulting Services, started his career as a police officer in Oakland, CA after which he enjoyed a 22-year career at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) where he held many important positions. In 2002, he joined Microsoft as Chief Security Officer responsible for global physical security operations before he retired in 2018.  Howard authored The Art of Ronin Leadership and The Art of Executing Ronin Leadership Strategies.

Bogard, President & CEO, Nevada Medicaid, at Anthem Inc., has more than two decades of health care leadership in quality, regulatory, employee development and process improvement.

Murphy is founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of Murphy Electric, Inc., which he founded in 1989, and Chief Executive Officer of NextGen Protection.

Radetich, a Professional Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) Implementer®, helps leadership teams of small to mid-sized companies master EOS tools. She is a former Emmy-award-winning journalist.
