The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation proudly joins with Empire Salon Group to show community support for Metro and to raise donations for public safety through the company’s “Go True Blue Tuesday” campaign.
“Go True Blue Tuesday” will kick off on June 29 between 1 pm-3 pm at Empire Salon Group’s new Princess Nail Bar located at 5095 Blue Diamond Road, Suite 115 (Blue Diamond & Decatur). As a show of appreciation for law enforcement, four LVMPD Officers will receive complimentary services, including a gel manicure and the salon’s signature Orange and Cucumber Pedicure.
The Empire Salon Group is a proud partner with the Las Vegas Raiders, and Raiderettes will be there to cheer on the four LVMPD officers at the kickoff event.
“Go True Blue Tuesday” will run from June 29 – November 30, 2021, when customers can round up their tabs and the proceeds will be donated to the LVMPD Foundation to support and supplement Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department programs that make southern Nevada a safer place to live, work, and visit.
“We appreciate this generous initiative from Empire Salon Group that demonstrates their strong support for Metro and its officers,” said Tom Kovach, executive director of the LVMPD Foundation. “This ongoing program is an excellent example of community engagement with law enforcement that promotes public safety and highlights and appreciation for our officers.”
As an additional benefit, all active Metro officers and employees who show their badge or credentials at Princess Nail Salon will receive a 20% discount for services performed at Princess Nail Bar between July 1 – December 31 of this year. (Must show credentials at check-in to receive discount).
The LVMPD Foundation created the Go True Blue campaign to recognize and support LVMPD officers who, day-in and day-out, work hard to keep our community safe. The campaign is a way for community members to show their support for LVMPD and the strong partnership that exists and continues to grow between LVMPD officers, companies, and residents of Las Vegas and Clark County.
