Wow, what a fun January! We had citizens, police, civic leaders, and businesses going TRUE BLUE for COMMUNITY SAFETY all month as part of our inaugural Go True Blue event.
We want to thank everyone who showed their support on social media. Your posts, pictures and videos were inspiring and lots of fun to see. Las Vegas and Clark County officials helped get the True Blue spirit going by turning City Hall blue, and the lights went blue on the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. The momentum just kept building!
We saw pictures and videos from entertainer Terry Fator, Frank Scinta, news anchors at KSNV, KVVU, KLAS and KTNV, as well as DJ’s at KKLZ, and THE COYOTE and more! Local businesses went blue too – inside and out, with employees wearing blue, and buildings lighting up blue at night.
Thank you to the Cannery Casino, Eastside Cannery, International Market Centers, NYNY Brooklyn Bridge, Downtown Summerlin and ONE Summerlin, Silver Lining Mobile Ads, Town Square Las Vegas, Stratosphere Hotel, and the Titanic Artifact & the Bodies Exhibit employees for going True Blue throughout the MONTH of January on the buildings, with signage, or via employees!
Cox Communications purchased hundreds of True Blue wristbands for their employees and invited LVMPD officers to stop by as they were handed out. Employees at NV State Bank employees, MJ Christensen Diamonds, the Puppy boutique, Enterprise Area Command, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, and the Wynn Las Vegas went True Blue. So did the members of Culture Shock And the list goes on and on! We also saw dozens of groups and individuals at the LAW ENFORCEMENT APPRECIATION DAY event show their spirit. Even the NV Attorney General sent True Blue good wishes!
It was a fantastic month, and we appreciate EVERY SINGLE post, and your support. We are certain the men and women who work to protect our community appreciate your efforts too.
Let’s keep the TRUE BLUE FOR COMMUNITY SAFETY spirit going for the rest of 2017. #ThankYouTrueBlueSupporters!
